Every vehicle listed on Motorproof is checked against official DVLA records before it goes live. This confirms the registration, make, model, year, fuel type, MOT status, and tax status are accurate. No unverified listings are ever published.

Yes. Browsing, searching, filtering, and contacting sellers is completely free for buyers. You do not need an account to browse, but creating a free account lets you save vehicles and track your enquiries.

On any listing page, sign in and use the Motorproof enquiry form to message the seller privately - neither party’s email address is shared. Dealers also show their business phone number on their listings, and some private sellers add a "Call" button that connects you directly without showing their number as text.

Click Save this vehicle on any listing page. You need a free Motorproof account to save vehicles. Your saved vehicles are accessible from your dashboard at any time.

Prices are set by the seller. Motorproof does not set or control pricing. You can discuss price privately with the seller through the enquiry form.

Your first listing is free until 19 September 2026 as part of our launch offer. After that, or if you are relisting, listing costs £9.99 for 90 days. Your listing goes live immediately and is visible to buyers across the UK and Northern Ireland. You can remove it or mark it as sold at any time from your dashboard.

When you list your vehicle, we check your registration plate against official DVLA records. This typically takes a few seconds. If your vehicle is found, we pre-fill the details for you. If not found, you will be asked to check the plate and try again.

Private seller listings stay live for 90 days. You can remove your listing or mark it as sold from your dashboard at any time. You will receive email notifications when buyers send enquiries.

Yes. You can edit your listing details, update the price, and add or remove photos at any time from your dashboard.

We offer three dealer plans: Starter, Professional, and Unlimited. Each plan allows you to list a different number of vehicles per month. View full pricing and plan details on our pricing page.

You can list vehicles one at a time through your dealer dashboard, or use the bulk upload tool to add several vehicles at once. Each vehicle goes through DVLA verification before going live.

Yes. Your dealer dashboard shows all your active listings, enquiries received, and account status in one place. You can edit, pause, or remove any listing at any time.

Yes. Every new dealer account gets a 30-day free trial with up to 15 active listings - no card required to start. Sign up and your trial begins immediately. If you sign up using another dealer's referral link, your trial is extended by an extra 14 days.

Yes. Every dealer gets a unique referral link from their dashboard. Share it with another dealer, and when they subscribe to a paid plan, you get one free month - with no limit on how many times you can use it.

Motorproof currently covers the United Kingdom including England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. We plan to expand to the Republic of Ireland in the near future.
